Course Re-opened

Guidelines (updated for 1st June 2020)

Following the latest Government announcement and England Golf guidelines the course and shop will re-open from 0730 13th May. The club house will remain closed, except for the shop and toilet at the bottom of back stairs to the 19th. A tee times booking system is in operation to ensure access to the course is managed in an organised and responsible manner and to allow a safe playing environment. Asking members to book tees is a temporary solution to stagger arrival times to meet social distancing requirements on arrival at the course and before play. Do not gather in groups in the car park or around the front of the club house. The situation continues to be extremely challenging and we all will need to adapt accordingly. The course will be open from 0730 – 2100 (The car park barrier will be locked at 2100). Please
note that if you choose to play during these times when the shop is closed you do so at your own risk as there will be no club official on siteTee booking

  • Tees must be booked to play. Tees can be booked between 0730-1930.
  • Tees can be booked in 10 minute intervals. The number of players waiting to play will be monitored and if groups are forming the interval between tees will be increased to comply with social distancing guidance.
  • You can play on your own; in a two-ball; or three-ball.
  • You can play with guests who are not members – normal greens fees will apply.
  • Tees can be booked in advance.
  • A maximum of 4 current bookings
  • If you’ve booked a tee and can no longer play please ensure to cancel the booking to open it up to other members.
  • Tees cannot be booked between 0830-1100 on Thursday’s, these have been earmarked for ladies.
  • Booking tees can be done online via ClubV1 app (under bookings) or by phoning Kevin Saunders in the pro shop [01425 272210 / Option 2].
